06.2012 - Weidlinger Hires Catherine Bragg as General Counsel and Caroline Weiss as Associate Principal
Bragg will serve as chief legal officer; Weiss will focus on high-design civic projects.
New York, NY – Weidlinger Associates announced the hiring of Catherine Bragg as corporate general counsel and assistant secretary, and Caroline Weiss as associate principal in the firm’s Building Design Group. Both employees will be based in Weidlinger’s New York office.

As general counsel, Catherine Bragg is the firm’s chief legal officer. She will be responsible for providing legal guidance to Weidlinger’s board of directors and senior management. Prior to joining Weidlinger, Bragg was vice president, senior counsel, and director of contracts management at TRC Companies, Inc., serving as advisor on contractual risk, business development, and operational improvements. As in-house counsel, Bragg participated in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliance initiatives, ethics investigations, and litigation support. She received her JD and MBA degrees from the University of Connecticut.
Caroline Weiss has more than 25 years’ experience in structural engineering, building design, and historic preservation and restoration, including contributions to government projects, corporate campuses, airports, educational facilities, hotels, hospitals, and retail facilities. As a LEED® Accredited Professional, she is qualified to address current sustainable-design issues. Her key projects include the Alexandria Bay Land Port of Entry, Southwest Washington Medical Center, the SeaTac Airport South Terminal Expansion Project, and the 346 Broadway Façade Restoration. As associate principal at Weidlinger, Weiss will manage high-design public healthcare and aviation-related projects and other civic assignments. Weiss holds a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
